The region of Shekhawati has the largest collection of frescoes in the world. These include images of various Hindu gods and goddesses, especially Lord Rama and Lord Krishna.
The Marwaris have played a huge role in the development and promotion of Shekhawati as a tourist hub. Having settled here from various corners of the country, the Marwaris now dominate the Indian economy.
There are quite a few other influential households that hail from this region of Rajasthan. In short, Shekhawati can be termed as the 'hub of the rich and famous' industrialists in India.
