DAY 01 - DELHI
After arrival in Delhi, a Tiger Tour with Taj representative
will take you to your pre-booked hotel, where you will stay
for the day.
DAY 02 - DELHI
The second day of your Tiger Tour with Taj involves a thorough
expedition of Delhi. The New Delhi region consists of sites
like Qutub Minar, Bahai Temple, India Gate, Rashtrapati Bhawan,
Laxmi Narayan Temple and Humayun's Tomb. Old Delhi includes
the Red Fort, Jama Masjid, Raj Ghat, etc.
Do not miss shopping at the hi-tech malls in the city and the
evergreen Chandni Chowk area. You will find your bags stuffed
even before the tour has actually kicked off.
DAY 03 - DELHI - AGRA
In the morning, proceed for Agra by road. Post arrival, check-in
at a hotel. In the afternoon, visit the local markets and the
magnificent Agra Fort.
The fortress comprises a number of palaces surrounded by beautiful
gardens and guarded by imposing ramparts. Reserve a visit to
the Taj Mahal for the next morning and return to your hotel
for an overnight stay.
DAY 04 - AGRA - UMARIA
The pristine beauty of the Taj with the backdrop of the rising
sun will bowl you over. Known all over the world as the monument
of love, the Taj Mahal looks astounding, to say the least. The
architecture, design, interiors, calligraphy, everything is
par excellence.
After admiring the splendor of the Taj, proceed to the nearby
railway station to board a train for Umaria in Madhya Pradesh.
The night will be spent on the train.
DAY 05 - UMARIA - BANDHAVGARH
On the fifth day of your Tiger Tour with Taj, you will arrive
in Umaria early in the morning. From the station, you will be
taken directly to the renowned Bandhavgarh National Park and
will be lodged in a jungle resort.
Post lunch, you will undertake a jungle safari through the wilds
of Bandhavgarh. Myriad varieties of animals and plants can be
seen here. You will have a great time watching animals returning
to their homes as the sun sets. Stay in the hotel for the night.
DAY 06 - BANDHAVGARH
In the morning, return to the Bandhavgarh National Park for
some more fun. Enjoy bird watching or just stroll around the
park with your co-travelers for most part of the day. A well-informed
guide will tell you all about the flora and fauna of the region.
Return to your hotel for an overnight stay.
DAY 07 - BANDHAVGARH - KANHA
Spend some time in Bandhavgarh on the seventh day morning of
Tiger Tour with Taj. In the afternoon, drive to the Kanha National
Park in the Mandla District of Madhya Pradesh. After procuring
accommodation in one of the jungle resorts of Kanha, rest here
for the night.
DAY 08 - KANHA
In the morning, proceed for an expedition of the national park.
Sprawling across 1,950 sq. km., the Kanha National Park is located
amidst natural landscapes. Surrounded by the ridges of Mekal
and caressed by the Surpan River, the park is almost picture
perfect.
Kanha is a major home of tigers. You can find a wide range of
exotic breeds of flora and fauna in the park. After exploration,
return to your hotel for an overnight stay.
DAY 09 - KANHA
On the ninth day of your Tiger Tour with Taj, you can continue
exploring the vast region of the Kanha National Park. You are
sure to encounter something new at every step. Keep the evening
for some leisure. Stay in the hotel for the night.
DAY 10 - KANHA - DELHI
Mandla doesn't have an airport. Hence, Tiger Tour with Taj takes
you to Nagpur, which is the nearest airport. From here, take
a flight to Delhi, and thereon proceed to your onward destination.
