Day 01: Delhi
Meet the representative of Taj Hub at the airport and transfer
to the hotel. Day is free for leisure. You will be taken to
the sound and light show at the Red Fort. Return to the hotel
for night stay.
Day 02: Delhi
On the second day of Best of India with Taj and Tiger Tour,
sightseeing tour of the national capital will introduce you
to the historical and cultural monuments such as Qutab Minar,
India Gate, Jama Masjid, Red Fort, Chandni Chowk, Raj Ghat and
Humayun's Tomb. Night stay at the hotel.
Day 03: Delhi - Jaipur
Head toward the capital city of Rajasthan named Jaipur. Affectionately
named as the Pink City, Jaipur is a capital city of Rajasthan.
Upon arrival, check in the hotel. For a glimpse into the rich
culture and day-to-day activities of people, take a walking
trip of the city and the colorful bazaar. Overnight in Jaipur.
Day 04: Jaipur
This morning proceed to Amber Fort, 11 km from Jaipur. Take
an elephant ride up o the fort and feel like a royalty. After
lunch, you will be taken to the major sightseeing attractions
of the city. Visit the City Palace Museum, Hawa Mahal and Jantar
Mantar. Overnight stay in Jaipur.
Day 05: Jaipur - Ranthambore National Park
This morning leave to taste the jungle safari experience.
Proceed to the famous Ranthambore National Park. Covering an
area of 400 sq km, Ranthambore National Park is a perfect base
to see Tiger, leopard and other species of animals. Check in
the jungle resort. Overnight at the resort.
Day 06: Ranthambore National Park
Enjoy early morning and afternoon wildlife safaris into
the park. Night stay at the resort.
Day 07: Ranthambore National Park - Agra
On the seventh day of the Golden Triangle with Taj and Tiger
Tour, drive to Agra. The city is famous for its remarkable historical
monuments. Arrive in Agra and you will be taken to the hotel.
Feel captivated at the sight of marvelous Taj Mahal, the World
heritage Site. Later proceed to the Agra Fort and Fatehpur Sikri.
Overnight in Agra.
Day 08: Agra - Gwalior
This morning leave for Gwalior, 122 km away. This charming
city of Madhya Pradesh has taken its name from a sage named
Gwalipa. Arrive in Gwalior and check in the hotel. Visit the
magnificent Gwalior Fort. While touring the fort, see the Archeological
Museum and 15th century Man Mandir Palace. Also visit Teli ka
Mandir, Sas-Bahu-ka-Mandil, Jai Vilas Palace and the Tansen's
Tomb. Overnight stay in Gwalior.
Day 09: Gwalior - Orchha - Khajuraho
Depart for Khajuraho. While driving to Khajuraho, visit
the historical monuments of Orchha. Proceed to Khajuraho. Located
in Madhya Pradesh, Khajuraho is renowned for its intricately
carved temples. Night stay in Khajuraho.
Day 10: Khajuraho
Take a trip of the Western and Eastern group of Khajuraho
temples, known for its erotic sculptures. Overnight in Khajuraho.
Day 11: Khajuraho - Varanasi
Morning is free for recreational activities. See the breathtaking
beauty of Ranah Falls. Later proceed to Varanasi, the cultural
capital of India. Take a flight for Varanasi. Arrive in Varanasi
and transfer to the hotel. Take a walking and riksha trip of
the city. Night stay in Varanasi.
Day 12: Varanasi
Wake up early for the boat ride on the Ganges. Enjoy a panoramic
view of the holy city. Visit Kashi Vishwanath Temple, Bharat
Mata Temple, Tulsi Manas Temple, Bharat Kala Bhavan, Banaras
Hindu University and Ramnagar Fort. After lunch, transfer to
the railway station to take a train to Delhi. Overnight train
journey.
Day 13: Varanasi
Morning is free for recreational activities. 10 km drive
from Varanasi will take you to Sarnath, an important Buddhist
site. It is a place where Lord Buddha gave his first sermon.
You will find several Buddhist monuments and edifices here.
Return to Varanasi after your enlightening tour. Overnight in
Varanasi.
Day 14: Varanasi - Delhi
Transfer to the airport to take a flight for Delhi. Arrive
in Delhi and check in the hotel. Overnight stay in Delhi.
Day 15: Delhi
On the last day of Best of India with Taj and Tiger Tour,
you will be taken to the airport / railway station in Delhi
to board flight / train for your next destination.
